A much better Tuesday

The Boyfriend and I went to Les Bouchons for dinner last night and it was every bit as good as the recommendations made it out to be. Steak was oh-so tender and juicy and only a faction of what you'd pay at Lawrys. Total bill was just over $120 for two, with wine and appetiser. Very very good, we will be back again soon. Kudos to Henry for discovering this place and spreading the word!

Office is quiet today; everyone is off-site for the day. My favourite kind of afternoon - with my bedroom slippers on under my desk so no one can see, a steaming cuppa and the world wide web at my disposal.

On a separate note, I have recently discovered sweet-oh-so-sweet joy in a wrapper at my local 7-11. You know how much I hate cream; fresh, whipped, stale, butter, any sort of cream. The taste of cream makes me feel sick, unless its ice-cream or full cream milk. So when I spotted Sunshine's Chocolate Cream Roll, I wasn't very tempted but it was the only confectionary which could fit into my handbag and I was eating on the run.

But oh was I so wrong! This unassuming piece of bread, in a frankly unattractive brown wrapper is like manna from heavens. It's a soft hot dog bun with icing sugar chocolate filling so you dont really get the sickening cream taste as much as you just crunch through your mouthful of bread and chocolate icing sugar crystals. I'm gushing, I know. But I love it! Best part is, no trans fat!! But I'm still not taking any chances so I'm skipping my lunch just to have a roll a day. Yum yum.
