Thank Goodness It's FRIDAY!!

Hello everyone! It's Friday and I'm in a deliriously good mood. I love the weekend - Friday nights, Saturday mornings... oooh, I'm tingling with excitement already.

Now it's just about having to get through the day (report due, meeting at 4pm - feeling a bit guilty now cos the slacking thing has been going on for 2 days already...) and then... TGIF!

The Boyfriend and I are thinking of catching a movie later on. It will be our first "date" in ages. He owes me 21 but I know he really wants to watch Get Smart. Should I compromise?

I really want to watch 21, especially now with the new batch of scratch-its out since yesterday. Since Tuesday, the Boyfriend and I drove to over 5 petrol stations in search of $2 scratch-its but it was sold out. Even the outlet at my office building ran out of cards completely. So last evening, when I saw the Boyfriend walking back to car with red and purple strips in his hand, my heart leapt! Our total winnings were only $7.00 but no matter cos the joy is in the anticipation and scratching anyway. Plus, when I went to collect my albeit very small winnings earlier, the auntie cajoled me into buying another scratch-it card from her and I won $2, so I thought it was a pretty OK trade. Please, please, auntie from Singapore Pools outlet at Basement, give me the $10,000 ticket next time. HUAT ah!

OR

Nothing much planned for the weekend, just a lunch at the Boyfriend's boss's place tomorrow and possibly dinner with a close couple-friend. After last weekend's fiasco of me overplanning and the Boyfriend oversleeping and all our friendships just plain over (i.e. kaput; and no one wants to go out with us anymore, we are like Norman + Norma no-mates *sobs*), I think I'm going to let things take its natural course this weekend and just spend some us time.

Gotta go and force myself to do some work now. Just to show willing, like...
Have a smashing Friday!
