It was a Hari Raya Picasso holiday and a bunch of amateurs got together to wield paint brushes and roller sponges. The foreman was pretty strict and kept everyone on the ball so the job was completed in less than 6 hours, fortified by heaps of isotonic drinks, Coke and chicken rice.
Code words for entry were "lilywhite" and "zigzag". Other common phrases heard during the day were "You missed a spot!", "No, I didn't!" and "Yes you soooo did. I'm going over it once again!".
Most loving phrase of the day went something like, "You don't look very stable on that chair. Be careful cos if you fall backwards, you may land on the paint tray and splash paint on the floor. Oh yeah, and you'll hurt your head."
Most comical conversation of the day was:
Speaker #1: "Your bf can really perch."
Speaker #2: "Yeah, weird." pause
Everyone has the most amazing battle-scars after but it was worth every single drop of sweat.

As long as it is like a year later. I've filled up my quota for 2008! You hurt in weird places after all the alternate stretching and crouching to get the tight corners.
